Tamatave

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

This last week Tamatave had a lot of special event, such as an International congress, Sangany, Celebration of 50th anniversary of Jacques RABEMANANJARY. Here we had a lot of fun but also got a very useful knowledge from the congress, hope that all the participants will bring a very big change in a better of Madagascar.

Also, something excited me much is, to visite a blind and death children school. I’m telling you guys, they are  so intelligent, it is amazing to me. Some of them want to express something and they use their sign,  it was great even I didn’t understand any of their languages, I was feeling wonderful to meet them.

Tu sum it up, please pray guyz, because God knows everything, and give him a thinks of whatever you got. You can speakso give Him a thanks, you can stand so give Him a thinks, you can see so give Him a thanks, GIVE HIM A THANKS

(eng) Foko bloggers catching up on Rising Voices Blog Carnival !

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Back in September, our very kind Rising Voices group editor Rezwan asked each group to participate the first Blog Carnival on ” your favourite festivity ” where :

How do we form our impressions of other countries when we have never visited them and have never met any of their citizens? The answer for most of us is still television – the images we see on the nightly news and in Hollywood’s portrayals.

With all the activities, events and of course studies/work that kept Foko bloggers busy, we sadly couldn’t meet the deadlines. Moonlight and Patrick (and soon more bloggers) are now putting a lot of passion to join this missed opportunity to share about Madagascar traditions :

My Favourite Festivity ” FAMADIHANA” from Moonlight

I can say that I was very lucky to be able to have the chance to attend the Famadihana many times in my life. I’d like to share my personal experience. I went to my countryside in Ambatolampy; more precisley near Tsiafajavona Ankaratra. I was really excited about it.

My Favorite Festivity the “TAMBIRÔ” from Patrick

“Tamborô”? literally means broth hiring. If we are going to talk about “tambirô”, it is our very very big event work party, in wich lots people can be together to mix up their strengths in working together for one thing.

Moramora oblige !

Biens à vous tous.

(eng) Reporting from every corner of Madagascar

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

The Foko Blog Club initiative has completed 13 workshops and 4 (soon 5) locations in Madagascar. With the co-founders mostly abroad or located in Antananarivo, it became a little bit complicated following the progress of the clubs and finding solutions to challenges. So we came up with the logical decentralized strategy when giving the bloggers more  ”responsabilities” . This, of course means sharing more informations between members and conversing altogether openly (in transparency) to innovate the FBC. These past weeks, you’ve been reading new posts from Tahina, Patrick and soon Randy who have kindly accepted to report on activities from Antananarivo, Tamatave and Antsirabe. As you can read : they have a lot to say ! Tahina from ICE in Tana on RTA’s City News :

It was not easy to gather all the FBC on a Monday afternoon with an unbearable heat inspite of the efforts made by Mr Pakysse on facebook and through sms since it’s a working day and the whole week was an exam period for some students. We were 6 people to enter Teknet’s training room at 3:00 pm and later joined by DagoMoonand Nhari. Monday’s workshop was a new adventure for Foko, a discovery for the 2 brand new comers Feno(ICE) and Tsiry (IST), a reminder and blog-update time for the current bloggers and a great experience for everybody, I mean as a shooting.

Patrick from Tamatave on BUEC’s latest activities and on Facebook and periodically his blog

Here in Tamatave, we are 6 bloggers: Cunie, Violance, Melinda(clairsttuburn), Theophile, Hanitra, and I, and I would like to keek this number. As you know we are in vocation so Melinda and Violance went already in the place where there is no network, and Hanitra will go soon, but I’m telling you that at least once(1) a week that I’m with them but they always got problem to blog. So I’m obliged to assist them. And every day I remind them to prepare their articles for the favorite festivities. Cunie and Theo will post theirs probably at the end of this week or in the beginning of this next week. HOPE. Now our group plained to assit an iternational congress here in Tamatave on this december. And I try to have the camera in that time. The most problem is about the connexion, it very slow, and as we are in vocation so the University Cyber is closed (ndlr: after meeting in Antananarivo, Theo and Patrick came up with the idea to schedule BUEC workshops at their University’s Cyber where connexion is less expensive). The second problem is we don’t know yet how to upload a video and a voice. But Stéphane will be here in Tamatave during the Christmas and we are going to profit to learn it. Now I’m going to post my favorite festivity. And don’t worry they will post theirs sooner Ciao, T.T.F.N

Randy Donny will be soon posting on ESSVA’s latest activities even if they’ve been a little busy celebrating the graduation of their 7th promotion in Antsirabe !!

(Tamatave) International Congress 2008 and Sangany

Friday, December 12th, 2008

In term of an iternational congress, it is a first time that Tamatave will receive such important event, it will take place on 16th until 21st at University of Tamatave on this month. Yesterday the bloggers here in Tamatave, we took our last decision to participate on it because it is more than important, not only for the young but for all the people. This time is our biggest opportunities to show to what we’re doing and what our plan is.

If we talk about this month, it’s a party moth, because we have Christmas for the children or more precisely for all the believers of Jesus Christ. But also this month, there will be a very special event called like Sangany 2008 which is the time when the authorities will motivate the best participants during the year about sport, traditional cultural show. We are all feel warm here in Tamatave.
