(Tamatave)Tomorrow
Saturday, December 6th, 2008(Antananarivo)Foko on RTA’s City News
Friday, December 5th, 2008Hello World, I’m Tahina a member of ICE Club who joined FBC three months ago and I’m glad to be given the opportunity to write an article on Foko’s blog.
City News is RTA’s newscast that will start on Dec. 3. It is important to say that RTA is one of TV stations in Madagascar that has the highest audience rate. One guy in charge of this program got in touch with Stephane saying they were interested in cyber activism and wanted to know more about Foko. A rendez-vous was scheduled, it’s all good, Foko will be on screen after being in the newspaper and on a radio show.
It was not easy to gather all the FBC on a Monday afternoon with an unbearable heat inspite of the efforts made by Mr Pakysse on facebook and through sms since it’s a working day and the whole week was an exam period for some students. We were 6 people to enter Teknet’s training room at 3:00 pm and later joined by Dago, Moon and Nhari. Monday’s workshop was a new adventure for Foko, a discovery for the 2 brand new comers Feno (ICE) and Tsiry (IST), a reminder and blog-update time for the current bloggers and a great experience for everybody, I mean as a shooting.

While waiting for City News’ crew, they were late, we helped the new bloggers set up their blogs and post their first articles. Something that should have not lasted more than a hour but the quality of the connection made it harder. We started the shooting at 4:30 with the interview of Pati where she talked about the whens and whys she joined Foko and what it has brought to her then followed by Diana on Kamabana’s case. Stéphane added more precision on how it all started, the goals and the bases of Foko.

We were done at around 6:00 pm after a last group photo and left behind us empty bottles of soda and yet another memorable Foko moment. Everybody went back home with this good feeling that he’s going to be on screen this week.

(Tamatave) Why Foko
Monday, December 1st, 2008I’m always like to meet up a lot of friends. Since for Stéphane met us for the first time here in Tamatave and explained us how Foko works out, I was already interested. So now my deam is come true, personally, I got a very big chance to meet a lot of new friends during the first Barchamp in Madagascar and E-bit, was because of Foko Madagascar. Indeed in Foko, we’re all more than friend, we’re like brothers and sisters. So hey guys, Foko is our LOVE because it is my heart, your heart, and our heart.
