We had concerns after the events at Ambotsirohitra on Saturday, February 7th about the security of bloggers when reporting on the field and warned them to be more careful in the future. When the rest of the country is already struggling with the economical consequencies of such crisis, bloggers in Antananarivo are still actively reporting on the events happening on the Place of 13 Mai and around different key spots of the capital. Ariniaina and Cyber Observer have joined forces to relay onthe news using different Citizen Media tools such as Twitter (http://twitter.com/dadandry, http://twitter.com/ariniaina) and their daily updated blogs. We are putting in place a more efficient network which will use Ushahidi the powerful citizen media platform to report on this crisis.
