That’s from Tamatave

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Two weeks now, Costa Europa cruise said: ” Bye Bye” to the Tamatave’s pier. Despite the political situation, we really had fun during of our times together. Thanks to all of them: the tourists, the company, and indeed the Aventour Madagascar ( Mrs Amie) who was always risking to organised the tourists outing in the middle of very hot time.

Let’s say fortunately, because three days now, TAC’s employees are manifesting for their right. They are organising a strike in front of their gate now at the time when I’m writing this article. There, the atmosphere is getting hot now. TAC is the one of the privated part into the Tamatave’s port.

In general, here is calm but the outcomes of the crisis are still running after our back. That’s the problem.

FBC tamatave

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Around one year now, Mr Stéphane and Mrs Valeriane trained us about this blogging and how it works out for us. Billion thanks for them, because, because of them we discover a new breath which is to open our point of view, our thinking, and indeed in here (foko), we have a new friend who are always there to share one another with us the pain, the sorrowness, the sadness, and joy. To be frank, Tamatave hasn’t yet a school of journalist, so we don’t have any skill of doing such thing, but as almost of the bloggers from Tamatave are from BUEC is an English club which gives the students at University of Tamatave enough practice at English, we’re quite interested of writing an article. That serves us to ameliorate our knowledge in English. We really love it and we do hope that it will always go in a better way like this.

In General, we like to blog but, firstly: we don’t know yet by heart how to blog ( like uploading: photos, videos, pod cast), and sometimes we don’t find something to write. Secondly: the connexion goes very bad and at the same time it’s expensive also. Those are the main problems from Tamatave. I think you already remark may be that, now, almost of the post from Tamatave are already with a pictures, because I keep the camera so that the others won’t have any trouble to have it. To sum it up, it goes slowly in a better way here, knowing Cunie and Théo talents of writing pieces, unfortunately they’re often busy.

For this year, we’d like to improve again our ability to handle the technology. In addition we think very much about helping Théo to continue what he did for the handicap people ( teach them English) last year. And why not to do the same thing to the children in the street. Now we just wait for all the BUEC members arrival. Like that Théo will feel better in term of time.

Eric and Fanelle Cyclone in Tamatave

Monday, January 26th, 2009

In general, they didn’t change anything here in Tamatave. because Fanelle couldn’t reach Tamatave and its surrounded town. Eric, Yes it passed here on monday, 19th around 11:30 a.m but it was undergraded category, because the wind speed was only 90 km/h. For the moment, it’s ok here and we do hope hope that there won’t be any more strong one. God bless Madagascar!!!!

Prison breaks in Tamatave

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

It’s getting a common problem now. It is not only in Tamatave but already national problem. Tamatave’s prison’s also was brocke at the same time, same hours when Tsiafahy and Ford’Auphin prisons were brocken. In Tamatave, we had 7 prisoners are disapearing and ’till now all of them are stil tourning around the city.

And last tuesday around mid-day, Tamatave’s prison was on the fire and brocken for the second time, and there was 6 prisoners aimed to escape but two of them are shot down by army forces and 4 lefts were escaped. ’til now the authorities are stil looking for the 7 + 4 prisoners were escaping and aiming to know the reasons why the prisons breaks and the fires

2009 New year’s eve in Tamatave

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Like usual, here in Tamatave, many families are getting together to wait for the December 31st midnight, the time when all the families are starting to celebrate the new year.

But Tamatave’s tourguides were waiting for it in a different way. This last day of 2008 year, we had a biggest COSTA EUROPEA CROCIERE with 1700 packs  from all around the glob. That required a lot of differents quality of tourguides such as: French guides, English guides, Italian duides, German guides, Spanish guides, Russian guides,….

Personally, this time was quite different for me. Why? Because I always used to guide an Anglophone people but this time was an Italian people. Before, I was afraid, I didn’t expect that I could manage to speak Italian during all along the day. Yeah, I still got some problems sometimes but it was OK. They were feeling alright to have me as their guide. It was my first time to guide an Iralian people but it was great.

As I told you from the beginning that, it’ quite different. As you know, it’s very nice to be with the family during such event but all the guides who were working in COSTA EUROPEA, instead of having fun with our families, we were all with our clients to have fun. We’re leading them to visit IVOLOINA ( the village where we can find a very famous botanical park here in Atsinanana region), and to let them enjoyed the Tamatave tourtown. Indeed, we’re all with our clients to look at the fireworks on the beach at night before they are leaving for ” La Reunion”. All of the tourguides and the tourists as well shared one another our happiness to see the beginning of 2009 (the new year). This very special event will stay in my memory forever. I was feeling like I’m with my family because we shared one another the best of ourdelves during all along the day. In term of atmosphere, I do hope that the next visit of COSTA EUROPEA here in Tamatave on 14th of this January will be the same of I felt to the Italians people. They are so kind and special “Coucou” for my smallest client, was becoming very close friend to me: Alla prossima volta la mia cara.

In summary, they were all enjoyed their visit here in Tamatave because, the new year party preparation gave a new looks of Tamatave, it was and will be always nice looking aspecially along the independence avenue. And also, we, the tourguides were enjoyed with them as well. I do hope that this new year will bring us the best of our lives. One little message to end this: ” Le vacanze non durano tutta la vita”. Tanti auguro allora. Felice anno e buona fortuna a tutti!!! Bacione!!!

This last week Tamatave had a lot of special event, such as an International congress, Sangany, Celebration of 50th anniversary of Jacques RABEMANANJARY. Here we had a lot of fun but also got a very useful knowledge from the congress, hope that all the participants will bring a very big change in a better of Madagascar.

Also, something excited me much is, to visite a blind and death children school. I’m telling you guys, they are  so intelligent, it is amazing to me. Some of them want to express something and they use their sign,  it was great even I didn’t understand any of their languages, I was feeling wonderful to meet them.

Tu sum it up, please pray guyz, because God knows everything, and give him a thinks of whatever you got. You can speakso give Him a thanks, you can stand so give Him a thinks, you can see so give Him a thanks, GIVE HIM A THANKS
